U23s, Academy and Loanees

Spurs lost 0-2, very poor display in terrible conditions. It's possibly one of the worst performance I've seen from U21's, Everton were not very good but they didn't need to be. The attitude and careless passing of some of the players was unacceptable.

I didn't see the line up, but I'm guessing we were missing a fair few? Hopefully a one off

A lot of the team had just stepped up from 18's and that may have been part of reason but I would expect better attitude from players, all part of the learning process I suppose.
The u18 team that played Thursday did have players who had more experience than some who played last night.

Instant impact for Bristol Rovers.
Y. Akhamrich (11', 29')

Agree, it was really flat but loads of the best players were not there for whatever reason.
I've come to realise that the better your U21 team is... the more of them you loan out... so perversely the team that is top of the league might have a fairly average squad with no loanees, then the best squad might be 10th because 10 players are out on loan.
So it is all a bit odd.
