Europe for the 1st time and doing well in the cup yet moaning about the fixtures

Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner said it would be "irresponsible" for his side to play two games in 54 hours in December after reaching the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.

Palace are set to face Arsenal in the last eight of the Carabao Cup on December 16, which would leave Oliver Glasner's side - who host Emirates Marketing Project in the league on December 14 and KuPS in the Conference League on December 18 - facing three matches in just five days.

Palace are hopeful of moving their match at the Emirates to the following week, possibly on December 23, but Sky Sports News understands Arsenal's preferred option is for it to remain on December 16.

Five games in 11 days - Palace's potential fixture pile-up...

  • Thursday December 11: Shelbourne (a)
  • Sunday December 14: Emirates Marketing Project (h)
  • Tuesday December 16: Arsenal (a)
  • Thursday December 18: KuPS (h)
  • Sunday December 21: Leeds (a)

Probably, but it's been ten games. They've thrown away 8-10 point leads before, much later in the season.
I know what you're saying but @Grays_1890 is right IMo. Last season Liverpool were a really good team, seasons before that Emirates Marketing Project were a machine and even then these teams had to really be at their best to finish ahead of the goons.

Now not only are Liverpool and Emirates Marketing Project not as good, but the Goons have the strongest squad sadly. In previous seasons I always had a feeling they would run out of steam, this time I just don't see it :(.....

Oh my. West Ham almost scored then Saudi Sportswashing Machine go up the other end and actually score about 10 seconds later.

Fans are supposed to have a “lock in” after the game today. I’d bet any lock-in won’t be at the London Stadium.
