ITK Thread

He started on Twitter a few months back. Seems to write too intelligently for an ITK though lol.

Let's see, He seems to throw a lot of names out there first. Will wait and see if it's a scattergun approach or if he actually knows anything!
lol does he write that intelligently?! Sounds like every other ITK to me and the flurry of names he has included just confirms the absolute gonads he is talking....

"Make up some plausible ITK stuff for Tottenham, find a good name for the ITK guy as well and make ITK with some flimflam clues and whatnot."

The Shelf-Whisperer:
The bull has flown north, but the baker is packing for the Seine. One is Dutch by blood, but Italian in contract. Look to the Alps, where the answer wears orange boots.

Hmm. Intriguing. Wonder if this guys is really up to something.

Ooh, this is a good riddle.
One is a Dutch player playing in Serie A perhaps for a club in the very North or Italy?
Baker? Hmm, seems like someone who is signing for PSG instead of us? Could baker be a code for a German player, whilst the Bull is a Spaniard??

Oh, i've gone down that rabbit-hole haven't i...

Has this guy ever got any info before the media?
He said Tel would be signed permanent back in April (although that's not a great achievement is it), also mentioned Xavi Simmons a long while back... but seems to have gone hard and early on Wharton. Guess we will find out soon enough if he is full of brick!

Kudus to anyone who can work with wham. Probably chavski bound tho. We are a bit weak on players who can carry the ball forward from deeper positions. Only Maddison can atm (occasionally romero?). Kudus can do this at will almost. Havn't watched much of him, but each time I have, he looks the part - able to carry the ball with dembele levels of ability. And more potent in the final third as well, potentially.

Edit: Udogie certainally has potential to carry the ball foward, and I hope Frank will unleash this side of his game more.

I like Kudus. I think I wanted us to sign him instead of Maddison two summers ago, but understood why we went for the EPL tested at that juncture. I think his price is likely too high now.

Kudus has been rubbish this year, I do wonder if some people really watch players they suggest. Maddison has literally twice the goals and assists in the PL alone last season and that's before we consider the fact Kudus was resting while Maddison also played European games.....

Better time to buy.

Isn't this the ITK thread? He's been linked with us, rather than people suggesting him as a signing. We need someone who can pull opposition teams out of position. Its so crucial. Most sides are well drilled, hold a good shape now, players like Kudus (and others we're linked with) can be vital to make inroads. Moussa Dembele was woeful in the final third for us. Kudus is potentially better and has shown he can score.

But I don't expect us to sign Kudus, wham won't sell to us at a decent price. And we'll probably buy someone similar from abroad with cheaper wages and sign on. But if we did sign him, I think it would be a useful acquisition. Eze, Simons, Samenyo...all decent with the ball at their feet and potential to open up defences?

A lot depends on midfield too. If we sell Bissouma, we'll need another CM. Hopefully someone who can break lines, which might negate the need for a tricky attacker.

Not sure why you compare with Dembele? Kudus plays as one of the front three, Moussa picked the ball up from deep in the CM position.

Like you say we won't sign him for various reasons one of the most important being he's not all that, especially at his release fee - 13 goals in 65 league games is not anything at all. Compare that to his mate Bowen, that is someone who produces in the final third. Kudus to date has been the classic YouTube player, looks all exciting but end product not so much.

Agree we need someone who can pull players out of position....

I'm left wondering what pre-season schedule Madds and Kulu are on after their end of season injuries. Be interesting to see how Frank finds that creative spark from the rest of the squad in his PS games especially as we know Tel and Odobert are in a summer tournament and will naturally be later back to the club. No doubt, a great opportunity for Donley and others though.
