    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

Best we have seen Spurs play in a long time. His calls on selection, tactics and even the Marbella trip all seem to be working. We need to fix the striker situation in Jan and see what he can push on to

    Biggest club in London

not just London either, fudging brick sides like Leicester, Forest, seems like half the fudging league thinks we are their big rivals. Was hilarious watching all the Chelsea talking heads turn on their manager saying he doesn't understand this rivalry, and the only club they can't lose to is...

Still one of our own - HK

Well done, and for fudging once, football did the right thing

    Mathys Tel

Tel's flaws are decision making ones, either hesitation in making the first move or just wrong choice. That can be coached. I've also said, for now, he can't be the main man, he needs Maddison, Fernandes, Tonali, Kudus, Savio, etc to be pulling defenders away, making space for him to isolate...

**** OMT Tottenham Hotspur Vs Coventry City ****

Disagree, he's quick enough to beat most players, his dribble success rate is top 5 in Europe, physically strong, can be an outlet to retain ball. The issue is we need to leverage him for what he's good at (as with all players) - Teams will double up on him, so what do we do with the space...

Tonali (and likely Porro) are probably higher rated players, but Maddison's impact on the team is significantly higher

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

Got his win, needs to push on from here, even if in a win 2, lose 1 kind of way.

Not sure it's a good measure of our buying of players when Maddison appears to be our best player 4 years and close to 500M in spend later.

    James Maddison

That record I think used to belong to Eriksen at one point, good to keep it with Spurs. First half yesterday was close to the best I've seen him play for us, in a game we weren't quite dominating, he was the difference. Ran out of gas in 2nd half (to be expected)

    25/26 Injury and illness thread

Said it in the match thread, players like Maddison, Savio, Marmoush, Tosin, even Bergvall, simply haven't played enough in the last 12-18 months, will take a while for them to get to full fitness and the occasional niggles/cramps will happen.

**** OMT Tottenham Hotspur Vs Coventry City ****

A job done performance, a win was what matters and we got that. Some thoughts - Good to see RDZ mixing up the tactics a little, an acknowledgement that while we have been largely playing well, we are quite predictable. - Coventry is probably a harder game than most people will give credit for...

**** OMT Tottenham Hotspur Vs Coventry City ****

He has to win, at some point it's just results and circumstances/caveats only go so far. Coventry at home for a guy who is supposed to be a top level manager with the spend we have had, two months into season, needs to be a win. Chelsea A, Palace H, Leeds A to follow, are all harder fixtures...

**** OMT Tottenham Hotspur Vs Coventry City ****

Actually think we can expect injuries with players like Savio, Maddison, Marmoush, Bergvall as they simply haven't played enough in last 12 months consistently.

This, and everything is obvious in hindsight, and memories revise history. The real question is what is our strategy moving forward? - We are betting on this manager, so what are we going to do in January to support him? - We have a good youth system now, with 3 or 4 that might have a...

Circus ManUnitus - Nobody's At The Wheel

United getting anything right would be some achievement. I swear, anytime any of the other bigger clubs do brick, United does it's hold my beer impression, they have to be the biggest circus.
