    Dejan Kulusevski

The only consolation for international week is more time for our injured players to recover. It’s so boring though. Good to see Kulusevski back doing light grass training. I hope we bring him back when he’s fully ready. We need him to play a big part in the second half of the season.

What would YOUR priority signing be in the Jan transfer window?

Well no we won’t win it with that mindset 😉. We should be giving our all to win every competition and then see how it lands. I doubt most of us truly believed we could reach the Final in 2019, yet we did. And if not for an absolute piece of flimflam referee decision, we could well have won...

Like when Jan played left back v Dortmund and was a true star.

    Micky van de Ven

Incredible goal. We now need to double down efforts to reward him with an incredible contract. He deserves nothing less and would have the World’s best falling over themselves to sign him if they had half a chance. We are lucky to have him, now let’s do all we can to keep him happy.

Solanke will return by the end of this month.

Simons should start and the UCL has to be where he thrives. We can say that the Premier League is too quick for him, but matches like tonight that shouldn’t hold true. If he can’t even turn up tonight v Copenhagen then there are other issues than just the pace of the game.

I wish we could find a Dembele. But there are few of the level of him about. What a player he was, press proof, forward thinking and gave others around him space.

The Case for the Attacking play

I disagree. I think that we have more than that but I think that for whatever reason we are not seeing them perform to the levels that they ought to be capable of and that’s down to the manager, the player and the system.

The Case for the Attacking play

We were first in a table if only goals from open play counted across all league fixtures. I think that’s more that we concede few but still look very disappointing in possession.

The Case for the Attacking play

My point was more that Son wasn’t the only player that we had lost in a sense. We theoretically lost Maddison, Kulusevski and Son plus Solanke too. So we are four players down on our best attack from last season. There are no excuses for how pathetic we look in possession. We have a team...

The Case for the Attacking play

Kulusevski and Maddison are yet to make an appearance for us this season so we have lost their services up until now.

    Xavi Simons

Up until yesterday we had only played Emirates Marketing Project out of the big six sides and Saudi Sportswashing Machine. By the time we have played all the others then our average will be far from the 1.7 points per game.

If he wants fans off of his back we need to see serious improvements next weekend.

The Case for the Attacking play

Thomas Frank talked of being brave.. “If you don’t risk the ball, you can’t create anything, so I’m a big believer that we need to be brave. That was a quote of his that’s from around the time he took over. Hasn’t aged well has it.
