Wembley 2017/18

Thanks for that. I'm going up on the 20th so will look into the train - I don't mind driving from time to time, but you're right about the speed restrictions; they do my head in!

Quicker route from Gillingham, too. Get a travelcard and visit WHL en route to Wembley for free. That will take more time, though.
 
Another good place to park is around Ruislip Manor tube station and then get the met line to Wembley.

As an added bonus there is a pub in the high street called St Georges which is run by a Spurs fan..

I used to live in Ruislip and go there all the time to watch the games if not going to Spurs... Now live in North Norfolk, which is great, but would have been so easy to get to games at Wembley so wish they had done it two years sooner!

That is a decent little boozer on footy days. As is Crock of Gold in Ruislip High Street. Not the best interior but loads of screens showing different games and a huuuuge one at the far end.

The Soldiers Return near West Ruislip station is a regular haunt of mine. Decent screens, not that pricey all things considered and usually quite a lot of Spurs fans in there (also lot of QPR).

Plenty of options but admittedly they're not going to work for those coming from anything East of Wembley!
 
Thought a thread would be good with information on Wembley, including where to avoid.

At the Juve pre-season friendly, I was in Block 128 Row 35 which is the lower tier, and the view was pretty good from there. Row 31 is the 'front' of this area, so would be good seats to get, with the disabled platform/walkway in front.

Also got the Victoria line to Euston, and then the overground to Wembley Central, which felt nicer than sitting on the tube for too long into Wembley Park.
 
I've been a few times.
The view is generally good from all the disabled platforms I've used.

Cant help with train, i just love sitting in the car park for 2-3 hours:rolleyes:
 
I've been to Wembley quite a few times and have never enjoyed sitting in the lower section, I always try and go for the front of the upper decks and got that for my ST.

Met line is the quickest option on the Tube can't f*cking stand the Jubilee line to and from Wembley.

Anybody with a disabled ST can add £300 for parking.....approx

I am looking to take my two grandchildren with my Son and myself.
Ill have to start saving, the kids dad will have to whistle (man U fan) or put his hand in his pocket. He's a good lad so a may weaken, or get my son to chip in:p

If anybody is travelling from Essex and they don't want to train/tube or drive there is a new service called Zeelo who are offering good prices on return journeys to and from Wembley, loads of different routes too

I've just paid for my Chelsea journey, 90 minutes from Chelmsford Train Station to the Coach Park £18 return, coaches are brand new with wifi and a toilet, etc on it

Worth a go once anyhow

Thanks. I'd seen this for various Hertfordshire pick ups but didn't realise they extended to Essex. £17 from Brentwood. I might give it a go to see what it's like.

You have me to thank for the Essex route, I gave them a call and had a long chat with one of the main people, telling them how crap our rail links were and how many Spurs fans there are in Essex, they took notice
