*** OMT Tottenham vs Arsenal ***

Good half, quite tight, changes coming, but we should be 2-0 up.

See who moves to make changes first, I think Poch will to keep hold of the initiative.

Not sure how to feel about that.

Arguably we should be 2-0 up, but from about the 25th minute til the 40th we did nothing and Arsenal put us under pressure. We need Dembele on and we need to try finding Dele. They have constricted the space around Kane and Dele has not got near enough to him to offer much support.

Wow never seen two sitters missed in one game. Typically has to happen to us TODAY.

Corners have been delivered badly yet again. Are our other takers that bad for erisken to consistently take them?

Wasted lots of good crossing opportunities to cause them problems. Get dembele on

Just need Tripper to step it up. Unfortunately his worst game for us IMO.

Think we've got this. Arsenal don't have much. We just need to get some creativity in the middle however we can, and I think march their formation because man for man we are better.

It's been sloppy. We've been a bit below par - we've done well to restrict their chances and generally look safe at the back, but we've been quite loose going forward. Trippier's been sub-standard - Davies has been better on the left, but he still had a shaky start and hasn't looked quite switched on at times today. Wanyama's been dispossessed or a bit wayward with his positioning and dribbling quite a bit today, which shouldn't happen given the size and quality difference between him and Ramsey/that Albanian guy. Kane has looked inventive, but hasn't been given the ball in the right areas - Son was probably our most dangerous player of the half, while Alli and Eriksen have looked anonymous to an extent.

No doubt about it, we should have been 1-0 up going into the break, and we were still just about superior overall...but we've been below the weather a bit. I hope the lads can shake it off and get back to being themselves in the second half.

Regarding Eriksen's corners, I think they look bad because he's always aiming for TOby/Dier at the near post so if a defender get their head on it, it looks as if he didnt give it enough. I think we need to develop another corner routine rather than always looking for a near post header - its too obvoius

Corners have been pretty decent imo. Four to the near post, two central and one short that produced a cross to the middle from Davies. Alder got a free header from a near post one that went close.

Playing Davies and Trippier as straight full backs is like playing snooker with your wrong hand to give your kids a chance. PS Can we have the Eriksen of 2017 2nd half past?

Agree - they're our reserve full backs and they look like that. Its why we need Dembele in the middle...might also drag them more centrally and create some space out side

I think we have been poor.

Eriksen is sidelined out wide. Kane is isolated, huge gaps between him and the other 3. Trippier has been poor like he often is big games without loads of time and space.

Davies has been a great outlet. Because we don't have Dembele , we are bipassing our central midfield everytime playing it long or wide.

Walker has to come on for Trippier. Dembele back into that midfield with Dier dropping back. Extra man in there means we won't look all over the shop when pressed a the back. Son to come off even though he's done well. We need Alli and Eriksen close to Kane.

It feels like a role-reversal of many previous NLDs, where one team is dominant and has more chances while the other is desperately containing, playing above themselves to try and withstand pressure whilst getting an occasional chance themselves.
