Yes. The gap is too large. Seven points still. Better than 10 but still seven. We need to be 100% perfect and they need to lose 3 games ( or at least two and draw one). Never going to happen with this chav team. They aren't flakey like Keegan's Saudi Sportswashing Machine were.

While it would be ok to win the league I prefer to focus on a strong finish and the comeback today shows how this squad has matured. I felt edgy all game (until the goals) and when Dier picked up his yellow card I feared we might be heading into Battle of the Bridge territory. Thankfully the lads kept their heads and we came storming back.
It's unlikely that we can do it, but we have a chance to apply some pressure and pressure can make funny things happen in sport.
Our next game is Watford at home, 12.30 kick off -- we can go within 4 points when Chelsea kick off away at Bournemouth at 17.30.
Same next week when we play Bournemouth at home on Sauturday and they are at Man Utd on Sunday. And they still have to go to Goodison Park and WBA away too.

I only saw highlights on MOTD.
I couldn't,t understand criticism of him because he is a match winner.
One shot he could do nothing about, well over the bar because it was part blocked.
We need to get some of our injuries back preatty soon if we are going to win something this season.
We have been by far the best club in the Prem this season considering injuries and of course six cup finals against the other London clubs who lets face it consider us as their main rivals.
No one likes us we don,t care..we are Tottenham..Super Tottenham, from the Lane......

did tottenham really win 3-1 after being 1-0 down in the 88th minute, isn't this what happens the other way round? Its not just resiliency, we knew we could still win, for anyone who saw us in the 90's, this is such a breath of fresh air, I don't want to even mention the title but I can't see us relinquishing 2nd, I've never seen that in my lifetime, and no arabs or russian benefactors within a country mile of our glorious club.

He was magnificent when he came on and played a massive part in a turnaround that was beginning to look like it wasn't going to happen.

You have a centre forward on so occupied their centre backs and then you play the ball just a bit quicker
Everyone in the ground could see what was needed
When I was walking out I heard some Swansea fans say that they battered us.... and one piped up and said they were lucky we hadn't started with a forward
Son is a very good important player but is never going to be a premier league centre forward. He offers much more running onto the ball

Not sure how we won this match. This was supposed to be the easiest of our remaining away matches. We had an excellent record against Swansea going into this match. And Swansea had the worst defensive record in the league this season. Yet in a typical Spurs way, we didn't turn up, were poor for most of the match and almost lost to them for the first time in the league since 1982. But somehow, we managed to come back to win and stay in the title race.
I think our real hero who inspired us to this win is not any Spurs player but the Swansea goalkeeper. If the Swansea goalie didn't make a big fuss and refused to be replaced, the match would have finished without any drama and we would have went down tamely. Instead that moment of comedy embarassed Swansea, affected their concentration and fired us up. Suddenly we looked hungry and all the players who were missing previously suddenly turned up to help us get this win. Players like Alli, Eriksen and Son were missing for large parts of the game but suddenly woke up to score the goals that we badly needed. Janssen had barely touched the ball after replacing Sissoko but helped himself to 2 assists in that crazy moment. In fact, we could have scored more goals had the match continued longer than the 7 minutes injury time.
Was worried about Wanyama missing out through injury. But fortunately Swansea didn't trouble our midfield much. We did miss Wanyama's hard work for large parts of the game. Dier simply made too many mistakes in midfield. Also expected more from Dembele but he couldn't lift his game. Similiarly Sissoko was a big letdown. Thought he would make use of the chance given to him to show his worth but he was poor again.
It was a poor goal to concede for our defence so early in the match. Davies should have done better to block the cross but Alderweireld should have cleared it as well. Can't blame Vorm for the goal but he was not really tested apart from that. But was annoyed with out constant back pass to Vorm which put our goal in danger. Thought Vorm was shakey a bit but fortunately he did't have to make too many saves.
It is great to get our 5th consecutive league win. Too bad we couldn't close the gap to Chelsea who also won. Hopefully this win will boost our confidence to finish the season strongly.

What a comeback but totally deserved. Perhaps now we can at last get rid of the 'sexy' tag that the tabloids seem to so love. Particularly pleased for Janssen has he contributed massively to win and hopefully this will be the turning point for him at Spurs.
Having watched the extended highlights of the game, what a performance by Eriksen. He must be the most under-rated creative midfielder in the Premiership. Certainly when he is on song all the play seems to go through him and since the turn of the year he is consistently adding goals to his creativity.
Still don't think we have enough games to catch Chelsea but if we can keep this team together things are looking good for the next few years.

The midfield (Dier and Dembele) tried to provide a base for the front 3/4. However our final passes were unambitious and wayward at times. The subs really helped.

Bit of a nightmare in the end,got to the ground quite a few spurs fans came down with no tickets,one or two geezers asking out for spares so had no chance,since quite a few of them knew each other....got home, laptop played up so couldn't watch it properly on a river,so by the time i sorted myself out caught the last half hour of the game old style on the radio......gutted not being in the crowd for the last ten minutes.
Anyway got a ticket for the Bournemouth game and then back up on the Tuesday booked a trip around the ground.....then i'm out for the season.
