JORDAN ARCHER (Bishop's Stortford) 13.03.2012 vs Halifax Town (A) Conference North (Round 32)
Another clean sheet for the young keeper as Stortford won 1-0.
Tom Baker tested the Bishops net many times from range, but Jordan Archer was more than a match with a string of acrobatic stops.
Archer palmed the ball uncomfortably into the air, but Dean couldn't react in time to beat the keeper to it.
Baker striking another long range effort, but Archer was an equal match as he tipped acrobatically over the bar.
Archer looked suspect when put under pressure, and another long range strike from Baker troubled him.
Archer proving a worthy match once more as he palmed strongly away from goal.

OSCAR JANSSON (Shamrock Rovers) 12.03.2012 vs Bohemians (H) Leinster Senior Cup (4th Round)
Saved two penalties as Shamrock won the shoot-out 5-4 after playing a 1-1 draw.
The visitors hit back and Jansson was troubled by O'Connor's cross on 50 minutes and then had to dive full-length to tip away Dave Mahons volley from 25 yards.
In the 68th minute Graham Gartland was on hand to block Stewarts effort after he chipped the ball over Jansson.
Rovers had a miraculous escape in the last minute of the period when Jansson couldn't hold a low free-kick from 25 yards out and the ball fell for Dave Mahon in front of goal but he shot over the bar with the goal at his mercy.
Harney saw Jansson dive to his right to save Bohs third penalty.
Dave Mulcahy saw his kick saved once again by Jansson to secure the win.
He was really brick tonight,he is going to lose us points SOON.
So far he looks more like a sweeper than a keeper.
He's not great in the air so far, but no goal has been his fault with uncontested flick-ons for all three goals so far.
That keeper isnt too fond of catching the ball now is he, good for the peno saves thought, so he can be a 5 minute hero at least.
Oscar is a liability.has no interest in catching a ball.
Jansson makes me very nervous anytime the ball is near him but hopefully the peno saves will help his confidence.
Jansson would have your heart cross ways but No goal has been his fault this season.

STEVEN PIENAAR (Everton) 13.03.2012 vs Liverpool (A) Premier League (Round 28)
Played the whole game of the derby, picking up a booking for a foul, as Everton lost 3-0. He played in his usual left midfield position, in a 5 man midfield and cut inside often.
Steven Pienaar wasted a good opportunity when he fired over after Leighton Baines' run had taken him past Martin Kelly and Henderson and into the penalty area.
Baines goes on a superb run, nutmegs a defender in the box and lays it off for Pienaar - who fires miles over. That was a chance.
Kelly's marauding runs from right-back were keeping Pienaar and Baines occupied.
Everton break and have four on three with Pienaar, he must pick out a team-mate with Anichebe free on the left. He tries to find Stracqualurasi in the centre - and passes straight to Skrtel.
Pienaar has been poor.

ANDROS TOWNSEND (Birmingham City) 13.03.2012 vs Leicester City (A) Championship (Round 35)
Had a quiet game, other than providing the cross which led to Birmingham's penalty, as Leicester won 3-1.
It was awarded when Nikola Zigic tumbled inside the area under presure from Sol Bamba and Tom Kennedy as he rose to meet Andros Townsend’s cross.

THOMAS CARROLL (Derby County) 13.03.2012 vs Nottingham Forest (H) Championship (Round 36)
After playing 8 games in a row and a series of poor performances, he was dropped to the bench and didn't play as Derby won the derby 1-0.
Buxton, probably Derby's best player against Watford, dropped to the bench, as did on-loan midfielder Tom Carroll.
Tyson comes in for on-loan midfielder Tom Carroll and is expected to line up on the right wing.
As much I don't rate Tyson, it bring some kind of balance to the team, rather then Bryson playing wide to accommodate Carroll.
Pleased to see him take Carroll out, far too lightweight for a game like this.
Glad Carroll is on the bench, maybe he could come on in the last 10 minutes to run at them towards the end.
