He certainly tackles himself well. He's been more effective than Defoe though, what a waste he is.

You're right, so much action in the box. Perfect for him. Would love to see him come on for Defoe at some point.

It is a honeymoon period admiteddly, but I really want to enjoy a game where there has been quite a change. It's makeshift but at least they are trying to win.

Only thing I can think of is that he's being properly rested for Southampton but on the bench just in case Defoe or Adebayor get injured. Which is a shame really.
