Gareth Bale

Re: Gareth Bale

Benefit of the doubt, anyone? Surely judging Bale purely on media speculation and Internet rumours isn't the most sensible thing to do?

This...I think he's been on a roller-coaster, I think his head has been spun like Linda Blair and perhaps now, finally, he's finding a place of acceptance for whatever will be? it would be either that or go potty right?

If only my employer had enough sympathy for me when I don't turn up at work because my head was 'spun like Linda Blair'

Don't forget, it's spinning due to some pretty mind blowing life changing stuff. Double salary, a new life in Spain, a new stage in his career. I'd be wetting myself at the prospect!

and even if he did end up staying he's now Bale the "€100m player" with a mega profile around the world. That has to be a mind**** even if he doesnt move clubs.

Re: Gareth Bale

Bale is not for sale we are keeping him out of the line of fire until the windows closes where he will link up with Wales then back to us

Re: Gareth Bale

Somehow doubt with all those massive competing egos in Madrid that Bale will take to it like a duck to water.

Although you can never tell. Billy Nick refused to make Jimmy Greaves the first British £100,000 transfer so he paid £99,999. But dear old Jimmy couldn't give a flying **** what anyone paid for him, he was so relieved to be back in England he took off like a house on fire and never looked back.

you could also probably hand in your notice and leave....

though if Bale does that then he loses out on his loyalty bonus money...

Re: Gareth Bale

I think it's clear he isn't happy and wants this transfer. But if for what ever reason he does end up staying then I can't see Madrid coming in for a player this time next year who's had a beason or has refused to play for that season. He'll have no choice but to put in high class performances for us yet again if he wants to ensure that this time next year Madrid have made an offer which we accept.

My main concern, if Bale was to stay, would be his match fitness and gelling in with his new team mates seeing as he hasn't given them any time of the day and hasn't been training. If the deal falls through and Bale has a bad season he'll have no one to blame but himself, and he will have squadered his little dream right away.

We could could end up worse off with him staying....would his heart ever be in place with us again?

if it was in the first place

Mate...if you were an employee worth 100 million to your company, I'd suggest that not only would you get said-sympathy, they'd send a masseuse around to your corner office with floor to ceiling windows to give you happy endings to your heart's content!!!!! 'Tis bidness!

yeah but mate, this is what makes it all so interesting...yes, he's always said he'd like to play for madrid, but he was very happy to be here for at least one more season...it wasn't until they upped the silly-****ers games...i think he might actually be fine staying here for another year or so IF DL decides to keep him here...

EDIT: just reading rumors that if Perez ever makes an acceptable offer, it's going to be 10 mill euros less to appease Ronaldo. Well guess what ****to? DL wants a world record fee! Oh this is just excellent. What a clownfest that shower of **** in Madrid are...

Re: Gareth Bale

Gareth Bale has already said his goodbyes to his team-mates at Tottenham, according the Sun, while the Times claim the attacking midfielder is not expected to train with the London club again as he tries to push through his world-record transfer to Real Madrid.

Spurs continue to claim they are considering other bids but there is only one club in the market for the 24-year-old Wales international, say the Daily Mail. The Daily Mirror claim Real had to postpone plans to unveil Bale at the Bernabeu Stadium on Tuesday and hopes are fading that he would be presented before the end of the week.

And the Guardian say Bale is worried about his lack of a pre-season and the related absence of match fitness, which stands to make it difficult for him to make an explosive start at Real.

Sweet jesus, I cannot wait for the transfer window to end.
So tired of the continuous reports of the deal being agreed, an imminent announcement and Bale's goodbyes.

Why the transfer window doesn't close before the season starts, beats me.

Re: Gareth Bale

Sky Sports News presenter Jim White has provided an update on the future of Gareth Bale and he says that the Wales international does not intend to return to Tottenham Hotspur again. Bale missed training yesterday and he is waiting for Spurs to agree a deal with Real Madrid.

I understand he will not be going into the training ground today and he will not be going back to the training ground again. This final decision not to return to Tottenham is bound now to bring matters to a head and he hopes the fans understand the position he finds himself in.

Go on the bench on Sunday, if he wants

I agree totally... Hell even my head is spinning at the mere thought but I wouldn't dress this whole situation as his agent causing it to spin. I also as a loyal person would also act accordingly and mostly with some respect by still working.

Re: Gareth Bale

Can someone link me or repost the pictures of Bale dressing like Ronaldo please. I have had a quick scan through and a google search but with no luck.
