They're teenagers. Kids. Let them develope.

What was Modric, kane or son doing at their age?

Not saying they'll reach that level. But give them till 21/22 before seeing if they might reach their potential. They will struggle till then as they are still adjusting.
 
Missed the game earlier as was out tonight. How did Kudus miss that?! LWB’s confidence is incredible as well as his technical ability. Hopefully he gets more sub appearances between now and the end of the year, followed by a few starts in the FA Cup, and league if he has earned them.

Isn;t this a discussion board? I don;t think anyone wants anything but success for Mickey.... and in the lillywhite... however Luca has an aura and technical ability about him that comes along once in a decade; at most. Seems to do things so effortlessly and always with poise and purpose. At this stage he appears to be a hotter prospect.... don't think there is anything wrong in saying that.

Giving youngsters some debut minutes does not equal pathway. We always give some youth players minutes every season. What is worrying is that we have not had a youth product be part of the main squad for a fair bit. Glenn Hoddle even brought it up. The last person from our academy that we could argue was part of the first team consistently is Harry Winks which IIRC is almost 10 years ago. I remember Oliver Skipp as well.
