It's a mix of both but better players make you look better too. At this level, nobody's pants anyway. Then the motivation's different too. A World Cup semi-final will never be the same as a random league game at Burnley on a chilly Monday night. Not sure the slower pace really does much of a difference for Porro, but it certainly suits someone like Romero better.

Clearly those Argies forgot that Bellingham can speak their lingo fluently when they were celebrating within earshot and Barco quickly scuttled away to hide behind Cuti after some sly dig.

The very least England could’ve done at the end last night after bringing on Big Dan Burn was to go full Battle Of The Bridge mode and kick some lumps out of the Argies to try and compensate for throwaing away the lead.
