World Cup 2026: Mexico, USA and Canada

Did the French players do any shaking hands with the Paraguay players? It didn't look like it from what I could see, or if they did it must have been minimal.
Made me think of Sir Alf Ramsey telling his players not to swap shirts when they played Argentina in '66, and calling the Argentina team "animals".
Will be interesting to hear what Deschamps has to say about it all.

I don’t blame the French at all. I don’t like Mbappe but I loved it when he laughed in their faces. That’s what you have to do to bullies.
 
seriously @Glenda's Legs, I don't understand why you would accuse me of trolling, when have I ever posted anything that contradicts my appreciation of Paraguay's performance at this World Cup?

not the first time I've been accused of this, our resident dipper does it regularly, I just don't understand it, my attitude to the game has been wholly consistent for a very long time imo

Perhaps it was just your enthusiasm for your preferred approach to football really shining through last night, even more than before.:)

At best, he was unbelievably biased and completely lacking in objectivity. Claiming it wasn't a penalty 😂 You'll struggle to find a clearer and more obvious example of one. But, as usual, I suspect he was just trolling.

He says he hates goals, but how does he expect to win a match if he doesn’t want any goals to be scored? You can’t win a match 0-0.
 
For a nation like the UK, that is full of Cos Play flag shaggers, I find it amazing how upset people get for Argentinians being so nationalistic
