Rafael Leao

I used be massively down on him, but there is def an X factor to him where his ceiling is really high, but then the basement is really low. But his goals output is better than most in his area. Personally I would want Rashford on the left, I think financially bar wages it makes abit of sense. But I would not be against this one weirdly.

I really don't get Savinho at all, I think thats the biggest mistake out of the three options in this post

Leao is not rubbish like someone else said, he's inconsistent. Hes fantastic on his day, sometimes you need a maverick/difference maker who maybe doesn't turn up every week and certainly looks average at times but when he does come to the party it's special....

And TBF he is two footed and gets goals in the CL as well as league, so yeh there are downsides with him and yes he is a maverick.

People go mental about Nico Williams who is a fine player, but his goal record is poor for someone so talented, so for me there are downsides to all players out there (not that we are looking at Williams BTW).

Gakpo is the one I’d like most of all the left sided attackers we’ve been linked with.

Problem is I do not think RDZ will be happy with players who come to the party when they feel like it... no matter how good they are. Next!!

Agree; he has a massive aura when he swans around looking imperious, I have no idea if he has a big ego but he gives off that big ego Alpha energy from a distance

100% agree.
The Milan fans have sometimes been booing him for lack of effort/application.
If we did get him, there'd be games when he looks an absolute world-beater but maybe even more where we see him apparently not caring. Maybe I'm not being charitable in thinking he'll not change, but at a time when it seems that Spurs are changing this seems a dangerous wild-card to throw in the mix and not one that RDZ would enjoy.

Feels like the word 'mercurial' fits him like a glove, and he'd have been a classic Spurs player in seasons past.

Talk is Milan is offering us him on loan
A loan wouldn't be a horrible option. I think hes a bit too sometimeish but then that can be said for the 2 other primarily goal orientated LWFs we have been linked to in Gakpo and Rashford. The flip side to that profile is the guys who are more consistently involved are help the overall play much more but at the cost of a lack of goal focus in Savio and Nusa.

I have rarely watched him. But I did during the Portugal game last night. Amazing pace and physical strength. Looked almost disinterested at times. I think that's just his playing style.

Put in a few very good crosses. A loan would be good to assess.
