***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Aston Villa, Sun May 3rd, 7pm, Villa Park ***

IF we beat Leeds (and they’ve been capable this season) then Spam are REALLY up against it if they lose to Arsenal.

They either go into the Saudi Sportswashing Machine game having to win, or, they go into the last game having to win and needing a truly ridiculous GD swing (assuming we have our usual luck against Chelsea) It’s cliches of course but the next game really is always the most important when down the bottom.

Absolutely crucial to beat Leeds and Spammers losing to Woolwich.

My concern is Saudi Sportswashing Machine away, they will be on the beach

They are safe and Howe is starting next season
Saudi Sportswashing Machine looked really good against Brighton. I think Howe will not allow them to be on the beach and is also fighting for his job. I like Howe and think he is far too professional to just allow West Ham to roll them over.

We must beat Leeds. Can’t go into the Chelsea and Everton games under pressure.

I actually think if Nottingham Forest don’t turn up against Chelsea they will lose to United … then it gets interesting.

Great performance. Fcuk their changes, we make changes every week cos players get injured.

RDZ showing this squad can play and defend. We looked in control. I was genuinely surprised at conceded today. I thought the only way they scoring today is a mistake.

Palinha,Porro,Danso,Richy and Gallagher were absolutely brilliant today. I have to say I did wonder what impact having our top scorer might have on the game.... He scored. He is going to be key and I hope all he has was some cramp at the end
Cross the ball into the box and Rich may score more

I wonder how @DeanoAustin is getting on in the home end?
What a fudging night mate. Proud as punch of that. Every lad busted a fudging nut out there. Every last one of them.

Thought Gallagher was the pick of the bunch. Chasing lads down full pelt in the 95th minute was brilliant. Bentancur and Pahlinha outstanding in the middle. De Zerbi’s usage of the full backs with Pahlinha covering them was outstanding. Away fans were brilliant.

I managed to sit on my hands but I was right by the away fans. After the game, I waited for the stand to pretty much empty and joined in “Oh when the Spurs go marching in.” Steward fudged me out. “You’re in the home end mate, for your own safety, get out.”

He was right. I don’t care. What a fudging performance.

Losing the clean sheet was a pain in the dong, but fick it, they've made me believe again tonight. Hopefully, Leeds will be thinking they're safe, and if we show up at the same level* Monday week, I think we'll beat them.

* There's that ol' caveat again....

couldn't watch the game as at a family birthday dinner

delighted with the result, and the fudging dippers lost too so I'm off for a carlsberg

Richie coming up big when it matters again
