*** Tottenham Hotspur Vs Forest *** OMT

I don't think it's the younger players.
But you need the older ones to help out:
Vicario - the GK you'd want to play against. Blames teammates.

Romero - not as good as he thinks he is.

Porro - inconsistent defensively. Loves a rant - not sure it's productive.

Bentancur - been coasting for over a year . What does he do?

Richi - Everton.

They all need to step up.

I’ll cut Bentancur some slack as that knee surgery was the end of his days as a top notch midfielder.

Porro has been run into the ground.

Romero can be elite when in the mood but still prone to lapses despite being in the prime of his career.

Richarlison is an instinctive goal poacher who offers sod all else, fine for a mid-table club but we need more if we aspire to break back into CL spots some day.

Porro and Kudus are so frustrating, they play it into the corner with 3 men on them, get out of the corner and then play it back into the same packed corner. fudging ridiculous, We need to upgrade on a number of players and our full backs are up there, the only one worth keeping is Udogie.

And we again end up playing back to Vicario.

It's fudging pathetic. Noone wants the ball, or be there. 1 shot on target. Another game we have shown fudge all and let them walk all over us.

You could argue that he’s responsible for the first if he’s asking us to play out. I wouldn’t personally. It’s just a player making a bad mistake.
You'd ask us to play long?
But the performance has been abysmal. We’ve been horrific at the back and toothless going forward. Again. You’ll always have players who make mistakes for pretty much every goal.
Forest didn't.

The fact we’re 3-0 down to Forest and deservedly so lays most of the responsibility at the feet of the manager.

The performance, again, is unacceptable and inexcusable.

The idea that the Manager is everything, determines everything - is just a reflection of how humans want to simplify life. Any manager is only as good as the players performances on the pitch, and there are so many variables. For the manager to become the key variable, you need to give them time.

Has anyone been a 4/10 or above today? I’m struggling…
Muani, he hasn't been bad in what hes done albeit out of position. I actually don't think our defensive has been poor despite the score. The goals have come from errors or the space outside our box. Our actual CBs haven't been poor.

I should thank them really, playing like this they are saving loads of money, because, rightly or wrongly, I am not wasting £200-£300 on tickets/travel to watch this level of tripe being served up, most weeks

Actually, Muani is probably our player putting in the most effort, when available anyway.
