*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur FC v Manchester United ***

Brenan is actually crap at playing football. Got a good finish on him and has a good awareness of the danger area but he's actually brick at football. Anything that doesn't involve taking a shot, he's rubbish.
I've come round to your way of thinking mate. Him and Richarlison are too terrible at football to be 2/3 of an attack. I know Frank needs to rotate but he's made too many changes here, two games in a week as a one off was a risk worth taking to keep the momentum going. The left side is turbo nothing.

Porro and Johnson on the right side should never happen again. They are both shocking together.

Richy and Muani need to get more involved, but Palinha and Romero need to move the ball quicker. No point in being good at resisting the press if you let the opposition keep getting back.

We just need to find some tempo. It's so lethargic.

Boos ring out. Only half time!!

Still looking disjointed, which is no suprise with a new players coming back in. We were doing okay in the first 15. Then there was a moment where we lost discipline. I've seen it so often with this group of players. There's a lack of cohesion. A lack of confidence. And we start worrying. Stop sticking to our plan, the crowd and players get jittery and confidence evaporates. At these moments we need to rely on a system, and on senior players calming things down. Go down with an injury. Reset.

VDV was pretty dreadful after his wonder goal I thought. And we failed to clear the ball, then gave a free header a couple of meters from goal.

Porro, Richy, Johnson 3/10 they look scared

Sarr, xavi lacks aggression

Imagine if we had mbuemo and Cunha while they have Johnson and Richy.

I
Lack of the left foot and lack of ability in the attacking left and right. I predicted this before the game started when I saw the lineup

The ball on the right has been poor
Porro having a mare and he should have him off for destiny
On the left we only come inwards because we have no left footers
Scarily easy to fix

I am switching between boredom and anxiety. We really aren`t very good are we? The worst thing for me is we never learn from our own mistakes. Gifted Chelsea a goal and now again today while we don`t look like scoring.

I’m at the game, and honestly can’t help but think our fans play a part. So negative and constant moaning and abuse, which must affect the players.

Considering we’ve only picked up 1 more point at home than Wet Spam over the past 18 months it’s not too surprising that fans have lost that positive feeling…

It’s games like this one that show the early moans about Frank were in a lot of ways misplaced.

Johnson and Porro both getting into good positions before putting absolutely brick crosses into row 12. Richy with a free header and not even making contact with the ball. Sarr playing an absolutely macaronic pass in his own box rather than just clearing it upfield. Players watching balls roll under their feet unable to trap them, Spence often running into blind alleys and losing the ball, a lot of it is terrible on pitch decision making.

The worst bit, United haven’t been good. We’ve gifted them a lead. Xavi has been our best player but he needs options in front of him and preferably those options are upright, not on their heels and not laying down rubbing their head.

Put Udogie on for Spence, get Scarlett on for Richy and tell him to show us why he should be playing. It’s a winnable game still, but the way our forwards play you legitimately question if we’re capable of two goals in the league.

Do you see what we were talking about with regard to Spence on the left now? He's unable to progress the ball, pretty much every time he gets it he's had to pass it inwards and typically backwards. That slows the play down, it allows their defenders and midfielders that extra second to get back into position.

I'm not anxious cos honestly I don't expect much when some of the players he has to pick play. We know what they give.
It's just more annoying the type of goal we give away. .I'm not even annoyed.

We have played better tho than previous games
