I didn't wanna say it as people would saybits a lazy companion, but massive Lo Celso vibe with him for ne
Hmm, that is worrying. I've never watched him, but one would be wise to be wary of red flags.

Even the toppy toppermost stars can struggle in the Prem.
Today Cherki and Marmoush and Foden and all the rest looked pretty average against our MIGHTY defence.

Last night I watched Xavi Simmons and Nusa play against Bayern. The former looked rather whiny and unable to dominate. The latter looked pretty good but they got spanked 6-0 iirc. Kane on fire, bursting into the box like a burning truck blasting through a campsite full of children at 70mph.

Having watched a few highlight reels I can't say I'm sure he will improve our first XI. Looks decent, of course, great ball control and some flicks and skills - but also looks a bit slow and he seems to shoot a lot when he should've passed. Hard to really tell from highlights reels whether he is any good though. Just doesn't really look ready for the tempo of the PL for me.

I thought he looked awesome. And only 20.

Madrid owning 50% is the issue.

He's a 10 they don't need to be fast. Cantona, shringham, le tissier. None were fast.

They just ain't the same profiles anymore though, the days of being able to stand on the spot and influence the game when the ball comes to you have long gone. The 10 then, especially in Cantona and Teddy case was more a striker that dropped deep, now the 10 is a CM who plays in a more advanced role.

They dont own 50%, they are entitled to 50% of the fee
Not much difference in practice.... it means that Como would only get 25M.... and lose the heartbeat of their team for that pittance.

Unless the player kicks a fuss (not going to happen), I think it is another blind alley. El Kanouss would be more likely option.

But it means Madrid arent an activite decision maker at this stage.

Como also loose him for €9m next summer if they dont sell him now.

I just think this has Paratici's fingers all over it. Plus our recruitment from Serie A has been phenomenal of late (Romero, Kulu, Bentancur, Udogie, Vicario)

So kulusevski needs to go?
Frank is clearly a very flexible manager, and I think people are making too many assumptions based on Brentford (of course, why wouldn't you to a certain extent).

He faced completely different scenarios at Brentford as to what he will be facing here, there is no reason he wouldn't want a traditional 10 as one is needed for flexibility. Neither Maddison or Kulu are particularly fast and I'm sure he would have used both of them by now were they available....

Early days and it's clear we are set up to play quick counter attack football, we need bodies to get in and around Richy/Solanke, it's no assumption from Brentfrord TBF, its literally how we have played so far.

Yes Frank's adaptable, it's why we wanted him, but this team has had a lack of pace for a while now and we have those technically gifted players without it, we def need a different profile IMO.

That's not saying ridiculous things like Deki needs to go BTW
