Can’t help but feel it’s all over early this year. Just a case of how many jerseys Pogacar fancies winning.

Really enjoyed it - a very well put together stage. Excellent to see Simon Yates take the win.

Just about to pour myself a large glass of red to accompany the rest day ITV4 show. It’s going to be a much poorer event without them next year.
Fairplay to Yates...was struggling a bit this first week after the Giro but starting to show his legs. Gonna need all the legs they've got too burn off Pogacar.

The ups and downs were relentless...a few times they said 'oh this is another uncategorized climb' :(.

I've moved a work appointment to tomorrow from Thursday, just because it's a mountain stage and mountain finish on Thursday.
I do like to watch it unfold live...yeah not much is going on sometimes but it's all part of the story of the day (and there's always the scenery) ..and I work from home a lot, I just love having it on in the background listening to the chatter

This route round Monmartre is magnificent with the crowds, what an atmosphere.

Agree! Will definitely make it across to be there in the next year or two. An outstanding stage today, great to see Wout get the win…but heartbreaking to see the end of the ITV4 coverage (which, along with the Channel 4 coverage which preceded it, has been such a big part of my summers for 40 years).

Some good news, though, in that Ned Boulting, David Millar, Pete Kennaugh and a few of the others on the ITV coverage are going to be broadcasting live online during every stage next year, as an extension of their brilliant Never Strays Far podcast.

So sad that the tour has gone from itv, I was genuinely quite emotional when they were signing off at the end, really the end of an era.
Wout smashing Pogacar on Monmartre in the rain will go down in cycling folklore. I'm still blown away by how intense that atmosphere was with the crowds in so close, they've got to keep that circuit in now, it was great in the Olympics but final day of the tour is just unreal, instant classic.
