Who should we be targeting now we are European Champions:

I think we should try for Eze (I said it last summer that we need a player just like him - a proper Tottenham type of player)
Plus one of Bryan Mbeumo, Mikkel Damsgaard or Matheus Cunha

Plus a modric style player like Gomez (free) would really help take us to the next level.

That's my opinion. I think the defence is okay with what we got and youth players coming in, now they all have that winners mentality (and a year older)
 
You’ve read my mind on most of that.

I’m just torn between whether we need a passer / tempo setter at 6 - Bergvall + one other - or a destroyer.
 
Though if we get a big enough offer for Romero we need a senior CB? Or is Danso and Dragusin ready?

Quality, maturity (doesn’t need to be old) with confidence on the ball…is what we need more of in all areas of the pitch.

Dibling - to compete with Johnson at RAM and give us some guile in the final third

Mitchell - to give Udogie some rotation while allowing Gray to focus on DM (and Spence on RB).

For context, I'd have no one leave (bar Davies, Reggie, Forster, Gil, Soloman etc.) and give Romero (5 years), Biss (3 years), Bent (3 years) and Richy (3 years) new contracts.

Need one more creative midfielder to challenge Maddison ?
 
I think Bentencur has filled in as a DM for us well, however i would like to see us bring in a player who is made for that posistion. As i said Bents has filled in there well for us but his stength is better used further as a advanced midfielder. imo

Its Gray's role. Biss, Bents + Bergvall and Sarr are plenty to enable him to be eased in

You would give Richy a 3 year contract????

He can't play 90 minutes. Think some of you have gone mad after last night. I feel a little sick reading some of the weird brick on here today.

3 year contract to a crock who takes months off each season.

And whoever else comes back on loan that would not feature.

Would also consider if big money was to come in

Obviously it would have to be stupid money for most of the above.

Last year we got alot of top quality youngsters, I think now we've won the cup, this summer we need to improve the team first and focus spending on some quality. This will lift the confidence even more and take us up another level.

We should target the best players of upcoming teams like Palace, Brighton, Brentford, etc, or their equivalent in Europe.
 
We need a keeper and a hard as nails CM (Romero style) who will both be clear first choice.

Beyond that ideally a CF (I’d sell Solanke but realise that won’t happen), so second choice a top, top winger (if they could also play #10 would be nice) that can create.

I see it like when Liverpool signed VDV and Alisson. If we get a keeper and CM even close to as good as them would improve our team considerably.

Is Cardoso good enough? We have some option on him don’t we?

Dibling about 2 years away from being a PL level footballer

I totally agree.

These are the best players at their clubs right now, and are get able. If we move early.

It's similar to when we were always outside the top 4 and Liverpool, ManU or Madrid would swoop in an take our best established players eg. Bale, Modic, Berba, Carrick, etc
We need to use this window of opportunity to do the same.
