OMT: Mighty Spurs vs Brighton & Hove Albion

Hojberg

Some of our fans think they are fine as backups. Davies only looked good next Romero because Romero made him look good.
No
They worked well because they played as a pair
Centre backs work like that
This is not a pairing
It’s two full backs playing out of position

Brighton have 10 injuries

It's not unrealistic to expect a Spurs 11 to be motivated, lose, maybe but this is feeble.

I hope Ange drops a bunch of them for Bmuff.
Ok? Why are you replying to me there? I was talking about transfer expectations...?

Which isn’t their fault
But anges lack of willingness to play the “kids” really bugs me
They play this position in training
Most have played it all their trashing over their career
And yet… we play a technically weak right back there
Neither of our makeshift Cbs has any real pace
It’s suixide with the attack bottling everything
I agree, they have been let down by being put in the position they are in.

What was Anges view on playing kids at Celtic?

More the system no? With Romero we have someone aggressive who can push out if needed with VDV behind with his pace to sweep up.

Are you questioning whether Romero and VDV would be better than Royal and Davies? That is a given. But as cover, these two have done well. What is missing is more options up front.

YESSSSSSSSSS First goal for Veliz.

Have we put four passes together with attacking intent today.
Squad depth being shown up - but nothing we didn't know. Painful for it to be so publicly exposed and for idiots to draw incorrect conclusions from it.
Lovely for the young lad to score there though.

Not knocking Ange it’s not on him. On the club.
I didn't think you were knocking Ange. That doesn't change the fact it's his first window. He needs time to work which players he wants, which he doesn't. And to fill those gaps, the type of player he needs. Then the club needs to do the negotiations, get the right player etc etc.

You expected that to happen in 3 months, it didn't and now you're disappointed. That's your fault.
