OMT: Mighty Spurs vs Brighton & Hove Albion

As much as we'd like to think of this as a rebuilding year, the reality is that we're in a title race and we should treat it as such. So this is not the time to blood in the youngsters.

So we just go with players that we know will make goal costing errors?

Liverpool have thrown in Quansah, they are more likely to win the league than we are.

We throw in the players that give us the better opportunity to win the game. If that's the kids, then fine. But if it's not, then we don't throw in the kids just to give them some game experience as was suggested.

Who is Konte?
I wasn’t mocking
I assumed it was another youth player

I believe the original poster meant Ibrahima Konate...

Following on from general discussion in the thread, It'll be an interesting one for the team selection. FWIW I think we'd see Royal at CB before someone like Dorrington for an away game in the league but it's more likely Dier will start imo.

I think there's a hangover from the Conte / Jose era in that some fans can't see why players like Dier / PEH are actually useful to have around. Neither are ready made for the system but a manager has to work with what they've got and given the players dropping like flies it is what it is. Even if they aren't the most in vogue fashionable pair they'll give everything they have so we are fortunate to have pros like them.

Konate
Thought he was out injured

The game will 100% be played, under horrible conditions, and we will have 2-3 of our best players injured as a consequence.
