*** Tottenham Hotspur FC v Burnley ***

We can't really afford to sub any of our midfield until Bentancur is back. Theres just a big drop off in intensity and use of the ball whenever we've made any changes to that midfield 3.

good going forward, need to tighten up at the back, two really soft goals, and Burnley are fudging brick

MotM clearly Solomon for me

fudging dogbrick defending

fudging infuriating

Romero fudging diving in again

In the flipside at 5-1 up giving players a chance to get time and find form, I'm all here for. You can't do anything with just a first 11 over a season and everyone's efforts get weaker for the loss of that 11.

What is counter productive is compounding that by giving others zero chances. That's a failure IMO.

People will always over play the lack of quality outside the first 11, personally I think it's overplayed especially so early in.
I may have worded that wrongly. What I meant is that our starting 11 today is probably the best we can field against this kind of opposition. Let's not revert to starting Richie just because he has to score sometime. Let Højbjerg remain a sub unless form changes dramatically. Let's not wait for Sanchez to play himself back to a form he probably never had.

Last week we improved and tightened up though. So as much as I have a downed on PEH I think the current rhetoric built over two games is abit early.
