She had an absolutely amazing voice. There were a lot of mental health issues and she was also dealing with the loss of her son last year.

That's two big losses for Irish music this year with Sinead and Christy Dignam. Shane McGowan is supposed to be in a bad way too.

I can remember back in the day the BBC closed down when Parky had finished. Fvck the Schedule! Absolute Legend!

This was my favourite ever Parky moment. One of those one off, goosebumps, glad I was there moments

The talent he had around him in the early years helped a lot, way more interesting to listen to than the plastic idiots these days.
