Harry Kane MBE

Jonathan David did it in Belgium too
He has done it in every country
My worry is his lack of height

David's Pace would be suited to what it looks like we wanna play. I wouldn't be against him at all.

The issue with people narrowing down what leagues they would and wouldn't sign from is that you would literally end up with a pool of no one to sign.

There is no real rule in stone on what will work or not, you have to og with who can on face of it score goals (there are other considerations of course).

David plays on the shoulder
And he is quick
But so is Kolo Muntari TBF
We need pace if we sacrifice Kanes brains

If they've done it outside France it increases the chances they can do it in the PL.
Kolo Muani looks good from the little I've seen of him and looks like a forward that would fit in with Anges style.

I agree.

Also I have liked many players that came from France, but the is a limit on the price I would go to.

I read 50 to 60 million for David, that's to high for me.

Then begs the question of why disrupting Kane with no major intention of signing him? The fact still remains that it was them that let Kane down in that scenario

well we can't be sure what happended - could be Levy was asking a lot more than what they paid grealish for
but they also may have had known haaland was coming in for a lot less the next year. they paid less for haaland and he is younger and better too.

Of course, I mean Kanes worth more than Grealish so he would have been right.

Haaland was a similar price when you count in all the extras. He's younger, a different type of striker, not better. Harry scored 30 goals in a poor defensive team with no creativity, whereas Haaland played in one of the best teams ever that was creating chances for fun and managed 36 goals while doing nothing else. Put Kane in that City team and he'd match those 36 goals while contributing more outside the box.
The main thing is that he's younger so he is potentially their striker for a decade.

Go with Richarlison this season, see how Ferguson continues to develop and go after him next season.
Brighton are already awash with money (and will have even more if they sell Caicedo as expected). I think Ferguson will likely be out of our price range unfortunately.

I don't see them selling him either, especially having just tied him down, even next year.
More than likely they won't, but slap down most of the money we get for Kane and see what happens.

Brighton will name a price, and will sell for it. We might not like the price, but that's how they operate.

They'll then go out, use 1/10 of the money, and have a player delivering at a higher level within 6 months.

This is what we've often done and what ends up happening is that the player then ends up proving their quality and is then out of our reach. Financially and ambition wise. Sometimes you have to strike early and we are a club that needs to strike early.

He just signed a new contract so there is no way he is moving this summer.

Haha beat me to it.

At the end of the day, we have fans on here talking up Arsenal for signing Rice for 100m saying he adds a missing part.

Kane is that x10, guarantees you 40+ goals a year in all comps, increases a large portions of clubs chances of winning the league and comps over the next 3/4 years by a massive margin, in order to steal a march on your rivals to get that player, 90m would be the bargain of the century, even with a year left. If I could buy one player this summer as a rival, it would be Kane.
....and that's why we must sell him abroad.

It doesn't matter what the value of Kane with a contract is, the fact of the matter is that Kane now has less than a year at Spurs and just over 5 months before he can agree a pre-contract deal with another team. On 1st January 2024 Bayern get to add whatever transfer fee they are offering THFC for Kane on to the contract they offer him. £70m to Spurs and £400k a week to Harry Kane on a 4 year contract becomes a £750k a week offer to Kane in January 2024. £70m is a reasonable offer for Harry Kane at present. £80m+ is a good offer that I think would be prudent for THFC to accept.
But come January they won't be alone in the room.
