Disgraceful performance from start to finish! The only one who can hold his head high is Forster. The rest have been diabolical.
But it's on Conte as well!
You can see it with Spence. He wants to make things happen, but you can see he's been shackled and restrained, and told to play in a specific way.
It shows with the others too. It's labored and it looks like there is little to no room for creativity and being spontaneous. The slow boring pattern has to be followed.
 
I thought we only lost against good teams and we won all the matches that we should win. Well that didn’t happen tonight. If we start losing against all teams we are seriously fudged. We are getting to the point that we play brick football AND have brick results. :(

A never ending circle of nothing, year after year. If Conte can't get this club where we want it to be I don't know if we'll ever be successful. Something has gone seriously wrong so far this season, I really thought with the new additions plus the strong finish to last season we'd really push on but instead we seem to be going backwards.

I wouldn’t be bothered we are out if we’d actually rested our players that needed resting - but we played practically our strongest eleven and get dumped out to Forest reserves!

So what was the point of wasting our players energy if they were just going to limp out?! Give Spence the full game, Gil etc who actually want to show what they can do….
