OMT *** Tottenham Hotspur v Burnley *** *POSTPONED*

Hate when a game is called off. Especially after Thursday. Felt we needed a quick response as a team and for our sanity as supporters.

But like others have said. Feel the worst for the guys that have gone up for nothing. Our of anyone's control I suppose. But still.

Poor bloke

Probably done us a favour as gives Conte more time with squad on training pitch!

Spurs should pay for him to stay in country for a few more weeks until Conte is confident that team are ready to start playing properly again :D

Conte named Sanchez in the eleven. If he didn't do that knowing the game would be postponed, he should be fired immediately.

Jesus, he's bad enough on a normal day...imagine him playing in those conditions.

Well at least the players might get an extra training session in with Conte before our next match then!

Isn’t it more to do with crowd safety getting to and from the stadium rather than the pitch being in good enough condition to play the game

Same applies though doesn't it? They can't make the stadium safe?

Unless there is a curfew to all drivers, walkers, people using public transport in the whole of Burnley and the north-west in general then beyond the stadium is irrelevant. The issue here is whether Burnley can make the stadium safe by employing enough people to throw enough salt around which they obviously can't.

bet the local Morrison's haven't had to close because of 'access issues in the surrounding area'.

As was said above, Scotland seems able to deal with worse weather much better.

Sanchez has been absolutely fine in the league this season. Plenty had said so before Thursday, it was even said on the previous Pod that he was pushing for a first team place. He had a bad game Thursday playing on the wrong side of defence, its not a season defining thing. And clearly Conte knows that….

According to the radio they DO have undersoil heating but didn’t turn it on in time. This should be a forfeit. But wait for them to try to spin it as ‘we were concerned for fans walking to the stadium as the surrounding areas are perilous’ and get away with it.

Tbh I wouldn’t be surprised to see him have an absolute blinder in 6 inches of snow, only to then be atrocious in the next match on a normal pitch.
