Harry Kane MBE

20/21 49 appearances
19/20 34 appearances
18/19 40 appearances
17/18 48 appearances
16/17 38 appearances

Add England appearances on top of that and it's not too bad for a supposedly injury prone player with dodgy ankles.
All depends if he gets whacked on those ankles
Their not weak.. he just gets fouled a lot and when that happens the podding player takes his ankles

Is Kane not fully fit for the Euros?
He is not exactly old for a player but looks really slow compared to Sterling and the rest of them young ones.

This might have been covered already but is there a chance that if England win the Euros, Kane will have satisfied his trophy itch for the time being and be less intent on leaving straight away?

I had this thought, then thought it more likely he gets the taste of success and wants more of it:D….

trophy itch or not, the chance/option of Kane moving comes down to a cash conversation.

who's got the better part of £150M to spend on him? it was always City or United, United have gone the Sancho route, City simply don't look willing to do anything but low ball at this point.

There is only one thing for it now! Play the Shearer-card, and play it cleverly!

"Harry, if you go to City and smash Shearers record, everyone is going to say you only did it because you played on a much better team than Shearer. Remember, Shearer did it with a weak Southampton, a mediocre Blackburn (with which he won the league, by the way) and with several abysmal editions of the Toon Army. Granted, a few decent also.

However, if you stay here, and smash his record, everyone will agree it is yours to keep, hands down! And I'd wager quite a bit of silverware will follow as well!"

Can always say to him you have 3 years left
You can stay for the 3 years and leave on a free
You have cost us nothing and would leave as a legend

city IMO just don’t want to break the £100m barrier

Ideally Sterling will sign a new deal and Harry will have worked out that for all the chances he gets from De Bruyne (when fit) these will be offset for all the chances he won’t get from Sterling not passing to him and occupying similar spaces!

If England win the Euros, any chance it makes Kane more likely to stay?

In the Gary Neville interview, he said something about winning major trophies at club or international level...possible that he could think that with this medal in his pocket, and therefore some belief that england can challenge at the next WC, that actually he doesnt need to leave Spurs?

He also mentioned playing in the CL final as being really important in his post match interview.

He's a very level headed guy, I think he knows the benefits of being in a settled position Vs the risk of moving.

Whatever happens with Kane, and I think he’ll go although I hope it’s not ugly, I think he’s a tremendous lad. Always struck me as just a great, great pro besides being immensely talented. I love the guy and always will as long as he doesn’t act the c**t when he goes.

At 41, you can’t have idols really but the 15 year old in me idolises Kane.
