He relies on experienced players doing their job and sets the XI up to play long balls to an isolated front line.

Poch did something similar - the philosophy was to play the longest passes possible in the least amount of time, to rapidly get the ball into danger areas. The only difference was that our team under Poch pressed higher than we are currently pressing, but even then, Mourinho was a pioneer of high-pressing via triggers at key moments, so it isn't by choice.

The team is labouring, and this passing and anemic pressing is the choice of the team - I'm certain of that.

Because the same dirge was being sung by this bunch of lazy chancers under Poch - it resulted in the end for the best manager we have had for fifty years. Same pointless crossing, same useless passing, same fragility to being pressed, same macaronic decision making.

We're so slow in possession! fudge. Like we have all the time in the world. Show some fudging urgency.

Wtf dele.

tinkle poor decision making from just about every single player.
Every bloody move of ours break downs with such utter lame brickness, I’m finding myself breaking out the old politically incorrect Joey Deacon impressions on a regular basis. I’m not proud of myself.

Lo Celso keeps losing the ball, but at least he's showing some willingness to do something with it when he's got it.
