Rabiot would be perfect only if his attitude can be tamed by Poch.

With CL experience you'd assume he'd be challenging for a starting spot from the off?

Either way he'd be a relief to the demands being placed on Dier, Sissoko and Winks.

Would be beyond my expectations for us to sign him, thought Barca was a done deal - I’m confident Poch would get his attitude in line. Would easily get in our CM from the off, although Poch has form for bedding players in when signed in January.....
 
The Wolves result was necessary to force our hand to look for players.. We do need CMs - fit CMs. We were tired yesterday. There is only so much flesh and blood can give.

Bill Nicholson played them straight away..if they were for replacements or new just new additions.
OK the game today is different but if a player has real class he will fit in very quickly....
 
I'm long on the record here as saying Rabiot would be great at Spurs. Made for Premier League football. My impressions from seeing him live twice - strong, combative, mobile. Just the sort of midfield presence we're lacking at the moment with Wanyama out.

Can't use him in CL play, though. Still, have him in a heartbeat.

I wonder about his mentality sometimes. He was on standby for the French WC squad but said if he was not in the squad then he is not interested. He looks a cracking player but I question his team mentality, is the kind of player Poch would go for?

Also I doubt he would join us for less than £150K a week

I suspect he would use them and Skipp to fill in for tired legs depending on what we need during the game. Thus seeing a game out/pushing it forward and facilitating Sissoko and Winks be for the next game.
But the crazy period ends in a couple of weeks, so only applies to if someone joins this week

Poch has insights into PSG via his own involvement as a player and, more relevantly perhaps, via Lucas Moura's time there recently.

As for wages, I think he's a difference maker, a still-young investment and worth the money. Also, a very hungry and ambitious player, eager to make his mark on the world stage.

If Spurs aren't that final destination (yet), we are a proven step toward improvement and advancement to the pinnacle(s) of football. One way or anuvver, we're a club that fits his desired trajectory.
