Could not find one with a search, please delete this mods if inappropriate. Thought we used to have one for when the window was closed.

I am not one who thinks we need to buy every transfer window and I love Poch for his coaching skills and how he brings through young players, that said I want to gossip and fantasise about something other then custard.

So I see we are linked a lot with david brooks, he really fits the profile we go for and looks like a lovely young talent, reminds me a little of Dele. Him or Sessegnon who has been a little quieter this season would be the ones from the Championship I would look to sign and maybe the young Hirst from Sheff wed as a punt for our youth team.

With the problems we have in central midfield and whether the Dembele issue is coming to a head I think we will look for an all action midfielder whether we make a move in the January transfer window (Barkley) or leave it to the summer I think it is an area we will look to.

    Not for the first time.

Did we not have a transfer in season thread a while ago just to talk about transfers? was it on the general football side of the site I can not remember.

I am bored thought it would be a good topic of discussion, not saying we need anything drastic as we are looking pretty good I think.

Alli's (a Pleat-arranged signing for the future) is actually the only January transfer Poch has ever made

I'm 99% certain we will do no business whatsoever once again.

You won't need to worry because you'll have forgotten! That's the beauty of senility.

And we all know how brick he is because he didn't score a hat-trick against the Goons OR Real Madrid.

We will have to watch other clubs but of Sessegnon moves (Fulham might need the money) or Brooks then we should be asking those clubs to keep us abreast of developments.

Would love an upgrade on Sissoko. Or possibly bringing Onomah back to compete with him.

Sessegnon or Brooks could fit that profile.

I wouldn't expect a big money high profile signing really. But we're also in a different situation to previous years under Pochettino. We currently look to be in a battle for a top 4 finish. If it looks the same in January and players like Dembele and Sissoko continue showing issues we might feel the need to strengthen to make sure we're in the CL again next season.

My grandad’s available. He’d be an upgrade on Sissoko.

Not a huge Barkley fan, but I think that will get done and that's about it.

I'd take Messi I think he could give us options off the bench.

Well, it's never a proud moment to go online and be involved in - or read about someone else's - premature e-speculation.

But I think Zaha flunked his audition with us when he missed that open net. Sissoko Mk.2 without providing the abrasive big body presence.

I also think that injuries to Kane will have opened the minds of some decent strikers about joining us. The trend is showing they'll get some decent playing time as Kane can't avoid injuries.

I'd like Zaha, has pace, dribbling and does score goals and a good age as well. Would fit in very nicely and a far better option than GKN. I doubt Palace would sell him mid season and he's from there and moved back after his last move so I don't see him ditching them mid relegation battle. Other player I really like is Richarlieson but again can't see them letting him go after only 6 months.

Would take Zaha at a “reasonable?” price.
