Son at £27m? Find me a buyer!

Eric Dier at £37m is a good one, not a player i have ever thought about putting a value to.

How does the list calculate values or is it just what they think they'd be worth?

Take Ronaldo for example, even at the age of 31 if you offered £106m for him I'm still sure Real would be very reluctant to sell.

The site of the organization that published the list appears to be down. But according to the Daily Mail, "The values of the players are based on several different variables including age, length of current contract and potential suitors.... Juventus and France midfielder Paul Pogba, who is being chased by Europe's top clubs, is valued at £70m. His valuation would be higher if he had a lengthy deal with Juventus but his current contract is due to expire in 2019.... The likes of Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic do not feature on the list because of their age at 30 and 34 respectively."

Bellerin and De Bruyne both valued at £43 million.

If both players were put up for sale I doubt anyone would get much further than half of that amount for Bellerin, whereas I'm sure De Bruyne would have numerous suitors willing to pay upwards of £50 million.

I totally disagree, at 31 they would take in a shot, they have Bale, and it would enable them to finance Pogba and Lewandowski.

Real would make £106m of the sale but I bet the commercial effects of having Ronaldo in your team far outway what a one of payment would do. I couldn't see Real selling for that amount unless Ronaldo was unhappy and demanding that he leave.

Even when you put the financial benefits or costs to one side the other thing that is more important to Real is their ego. Having one of the greatests players of all time in your dressing room provides a much bigger ego boost than does having a few of the best of this moment in time.

In 20 years time people will have forogtton all about Lewandowski except perhaps in Germany. Maybe people will remember Pogba but I guess time will tell. But people certainly won't have forgotton Cristinao Ronaldo - The Maradona or Pele of our time. He will be the sort of brand that keeps giving for many, many years to come. If Real can keep him till he retires (and Ronaldo has already said he wants to retire at Madrid) then people will always remember him as a Real player and that means Real have a real billion euro asset at the club.

Well if you think that list is skewed, just take a look at the 2016 UEFA rankings:

James Milner above Toni Kroos, Gareth Bale and Paul Pogba in UEFA rankings tool

James Milner is not even a guaranteed starter for England but he is currently the fifth best player among Euro 2016 teams, according to a UEFA rankings tool.

The Liverpool midfielder is above big names such as Toni Kroos (9th), Gareth Bale (12th) and Paul Pogba (16th), with Tottenham's Dele Alli the next highest-ranked Englishman at 14th.

UEFA's 'barometer', which is based on a statistical analysis of form for club and country since the start of January, is topped by Cristiano Ronaldo after a run of nine goals in his last eight appearances of the season.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Antoine Griezmann and West Ham's Dimitri Payet make up the rest of the top four, with Milner fifth having provided seven assists in four games in April and created 30 scoring chances in his last nine games.

Danny Drinkwater, who was left out of Roy Hodgson's 23-man squad on Tuesday, is the eighth highest Englishman at 51st, with Leicester team-mate Jamie Vardy at 28th.

Fellow title-winner N'Golo Kante is the third highest-rated Premier League star at 18th, with Laurent Koscielny (21th), Harry Kane (23nd) and Cesc Fabregas (27th) the next British-based players on the list.

England new boy Marcus Rashford is ranked 94th after his goalscoring international debut against Australia, and Three Lions captain Wayne Rooney sneaks into the top 100 in 98th place.
