Japhet looked decent . Could be getting more games after that. Hopefully save us having to lay out for a new CB in the near future.

Last 30 was better. As some have said once players who want to be here are on the pitch.

As much as Eriksen has been good for us he’s been brick for a long long time now. Sad to see it end like that really. Don’t like seeing individuals get booed off especially after length of time he’s been at the club. Even tho he bought it on himself.

Because were at Home... a good Team makes their home ground its fortress!
Obviously you don,t remember days past when we would go a full season at home without loosing.
Allthough we managed CL final we are no way are the club we were back in the sixties..I suppose
from my point of view I look back...why has this club no passion for winning anymore?

I really cant understand how Liverpool get so many decisions from referees...its got to stop hasn,t it.
so much for this VAR that is a big con anyway....anyway...rant over..lol

Dele is a luxury player, when the midfield works, we can carry him and wait for that game changing moment.

In a game where we need everyone to be careful with the ball, manage possession, in this form he's a problem.

I don't even dislike him but he's not my cup of tea when it comes to a player for the point of the midfield/behind the striker. I would prefer an ACM stylistically, players who thread through balls players who are more about creating than finishing or at least equally and he's definitely balanced towards the finishing of chances.

Also for me far to often if he isn't scoring he's ineffectual and adding nothing to the side because he doesn't have that rounder game imo.

He's a fantastic option to have but a guaranteed untouchable starter? I don't believe he justifies that.

    I will prepare my flamesuit.

Throw Davies and Hugo into that backline and we may have the makings of something.

A DM in front of them and I think it will be pretty solid moving forward.

What the flip? Is this sarcasm? Dilly Dele is still dribbling around the centre circle, ponderously considering whether to pass or not

No dont comment on something ruining the game..
I must admit I have no idea how the panel watching the replay come to a decision. Do they all
watch it together and come to a decision? because if they do it has to be a joke..you might as well let the TV pundits make the decisions with their bias!

Tyler was disgusted with it, Tangana had left one on Robertson apparently! Took great delight in ridiculing Jose’s playing career (the guys won how many trophies as manager yet this is still a stick to attempt to beat him with?!?) and telling everyone how difficult it is to play in front of such a demanding crowd, because we thought his mate Jamie was an embarrassing footballer!

how this guy is still in a job I’ve no idea.

Today showed my major issue with VAR an incorrectly given corner/throw in is much more of an issue that being a shoelace off side.

    That's a straight red. It's a potential leg breaker.

Spot on summation. Son and LoCelso had gilt edged chances to have earned us at least a draw. Really feels sometimes like we have broken so many mirrors to have this much bad luck all the time. The fact that the throw in leading to their goal should have gone our way, sums it up for me.

The final take-away. Eriksen must never play for us again. He should be taken on one side and explained that if he doesn't leave in this window , he won't get any game time for the next 6 months. That would leave him rusty and out of practice when the Euros come round. Hopefully that would be enough of a threat for him to decide to pack his bags now.

@milo Sanchez for MoM. He was head and shoulders our best player today.
