Tottenham v Aston Villa (17:30 BST)

Aston Villa's summer transfer signings have made a lot of sense, and they have also got good momentum after the way they came up from the Championship - although I cannot see it helping them too much on Saturday.

I think Spurs will be far too strong for them, but Villa still have the best chance of staying up of any of the promoted teams.

    Lawro's prediction: 2-0

Bob Mortimer does a nice Lawro bit on Athletico Mince. His Gangs of the EPL, especially with The White Harts is HILARIOUS.

Emirates Marketing Project v Tottenham (17:30 BST)

Tottenham were pretty unimpressive until the final 20 minutes of their win over Aston Villa, but that doesn't matter - they got the win, which is what the top teams do when they don't play well.

City were a lot more like their usual selves in their big win against West Ham, but I am expecting a much tighter game here because Spurs have got the weapons to hurt them on the break.

I still expect Pep Guardiola's side to win, but it is not going to be straightforward.

    Lawro's prediction: 2-1

    Tottenham v Newcastle (16:30 BST)

Tottenham are getting used to playing at home now - that usually takes a bit of time.

Meanwhile, Newcastle are still a bit all over the place. They have already lost to Norwich and Arsenal but remember, former boss Rafael Benitez had a bad start last season and they picked things up. Steve Bruce has made some new signings and the fans just need to get behind the team now.

    Lawro's prediction: 2-0

What has happened to Tottenham? They are there with four points but they were totally unconvincing against Newcastle.

We have mentioned Arsenal and I thought they were naive against Liverpool and I am sorry but a defence with David Luiz in it isn't going to get you top three.

The situation with Christian Eriksen is also very interesting. Daniel Levy, you would argue, has come out on top of every deal he has done but this looks like one he will lose out on.

    Tottenham v Crystal Palace

Tottenham have not really hit their stride yet, but they are still a good side and it is obviously a boost for them that they kept hold of Christian Eriksen.

This should be a good game, because Crystal Palace are flying high at the moment and have already won at Old Trafford this season.

It will be up to Spurs to break them down. They didn't manage that against Newcastle last month, but I think they will have more joy this time.

    Lawro's prediction: 2-0

    Is it not just

2-0 = where one side is expected to finish at least 4 positions higher than the other
2-1 when the side is expected to finish above the other. But maybe only 1-3 places higher
1-1 when either side could finish higher
