It's not the same hotel alas, the original was demolished/bombed. The new one just looks and feels like any good city hotel.

Actually reading Prussian Blue at the moment and enjoying it as usual. Did you know Spielberg has the rights for a t.v. series on it.

cool, I was going to ask if you'd got the latest one yet, is it any good?

I can't believe they've not dramatised it yet, same as the Station Series by David Downing, it could be great

Yes it is the usual high standard and follows on from the previous one in Nice. Apparently the have been lots of problems trying to get it dramatised because people kept buying the rights then not developing it. I read a couple of the station series and liked the whole British father German son but gave up on it a few years back, think I would have to read through them all again in order.

When we were in Thailand I read 7 books in 3 weeks, I do actually enjoy reading but tend to get distracted in the UK. Love reading when I am on holiday and love second and cold war era set books. I read quite a few medical and positive mental attitude books but that is for other reasons.

Gunther would be a bigger anti hero then tony soprano if they got it right in a t.v. show
