It is utterly despicable and I too cannot understand why anyone would buy the Sun, although I do buy others from the same stable so one way or another I am still feeding the Murdoch empire. However it's the sensationalist "journalism" and "ethics", or lack thereof, at the Sun that is the problem. While people buy the paper, advertisers will continue to buy ad space, and the paper will survive.

Not only should people not buy that bricky rag, but anyone caught advertising in it should be avoided like the plague.

Although with online editions it's hard to see how the ad revenue will dry up, as every click is advertising revenue.
I noticed I am guilty of linking a tweet this morning that mentioned the Sun as its source - will be more careful going forward.

Whenever I see this thread has been bumped after a long lay-off I always open it with a sense of dread

Sounded in fairly good spirits on GMB this morning... said he won't be coming to the finale at WHL as he wants to focus on getting himself better...
