Way I read it is he's signed a new contract for 3 years, so that removes the low buyout clause mentioned in your link, but the huge buyout clause mentioned in the mail link i linked to only comes into effect if he becomes a first team regular, so we could sign him but would be for far more than the 2.6m he would have cost before signing a new 3 year deal.
 
I see he is represented by Puyol and De la Pena.
Poch is on rather good terms with those two, if I remember right. Even had them over to visit the Lodge not long ago.
