Thanks. Will have a listen. Strange that a current player (playing for generally a team with far more issues long-term than us) would pipe up like that. He might actually be right, but way say it?

I suspect his agent might also be an agent of one of our 'disgruntled' lot, plus maybe he's bitter that we didn't sign him a year or two ago when there was a rumour or two..
 
I think he has a point when he says players have egos, and they will not be happy knowing they are earning less than their peers whilst at the same time competing in the CL.
But it's also a rather simplistic take on things - e.g. we know there have been vastly improved wage offers on the table for a number of players who have turned them down. So he's talking without a full grasp on the facts (like most of us really).
Jenas was also pushing for the conversation to go down the route of blaming Levy.
