He's been far more effective than Dier, in my opinion. Not asked to do the same things obviously, but he's been decent this half, in my opinion.

Decent at what exactly. Gave the ball away continuously and his dead balls were brick as usual.

Would've been acceptable to lose a tight game, but we just didn't show up. Terrible display. Not a great line up. Sissoko/Dier CM does not work. Sissoko/Winks doesn't work. See the pattern? Sissoko can't play CM. We need someone who can at least control the ball in Central midfield. Don't get me wrong, I thought Sissoko was OK today, he's just not a central midfielder. Even Mourinho said as much. So why does he keep playing him there? Makes no sense.
