Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

The last time they announced the doomed events it was done on 24th July 2018 with the first one being on 27th August 2018 so a full month.

Depends if Spurs think they have enough time to arrange something like that in half the time.

For the familiarisation event they gave an announcement on the 3rd December saying that the ballot was open for a 16th December event date.

I read somewhere that we had agreed with Haringey that we could announce test events with 2 weeks notice.
Mind you there’s been so much speculation on everything connected with the build that anything other than an official announcement needs to be accompanied with at least a pinch of salt.

Agree, you only have to read through this thread to see that.

If someone would bother, I'm sure there's a lot of gonad*s to be dug out of this thread. How many time have someone predicted an opening date??

Lots of shruberrrrrrrrrrry in Cowlin's latest update from late this afternoon

He said test event 1 on the 24th March - Ladies game and test event 2 on the 30th March which would be the legends game against Bayern

I spoke to a few staff yesterday - there was a strong vibe that this was the last game at Wembley but nothing to substanciate that. Spoke to a few stewards - they have not been told anything about test event dates or been asked to keep dates free.

Aren't the stewards recruited from the local sixth form? So the Wembley ones would be different to the Tottenham ones?

Im pretty sure test events can't be official fixtures so can't see the ladies game being one of them - much more likely a screening of an away game or some other exhibition fixture.
