    Yes, it's been around since 1973, but as Gutter Boy said above, up to and including season 1998-99 it was contested between the winners of the European Cup and the Cup Winners' Cup. Spurs' previous wins in qualifying competitions all came too early.

    Not replacing Richarlison would be a dereliction of duty in my view. We can't rely on a 'striker' who (a) is almost always injured and (b) can't hit the target even when he's fit.
