Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

I think Deki and Solanke are usually really good. But they are knackered. And the goons are essentially Paella Pulis level physical.

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

A pretty fair appraisal mate. I mean, there's something in there for all of us to agree with. It's such a weird and messy time. If I don't apply contecxt to this moment, I am looking at us in the lower third of the table 2 points below West Ham. That is not good. Is contet my friend or enemy? I...

I thought the pundits were ridiculous actually with regards to him.

Generally agree with your post, but interested as to what else he could've done in the last two months given what we don't have?

Contingency planning : If Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

I think the only moment for Ancelotti was when we (wrongly ;-) ) sacked Poch. That was the moment. Instead we got Dr.clamy...

    Dejan Kulusevski

Indeed! All this talk of where we should be putting him, ideally it'd be on a plane to some warm weather mid-season breakage for a week rather than the inevitable cold weather body breakage which will occur unless we find a way to stop flogging him. A couple of his challenges last night were...

To that point, hopefully it is clear that if we mindfully played like that first-half more often (again, I was somewhat fooled because I thought we had but it appears fatigue was the dictate) then we'd be no better off at all and most likely not even have cup competitions to look foreward to.

I should note I added a bit to the initial reply (sneaky I know ;-) )

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

This would be the critical ingredient. No lurching. With regards to the journey, I was referring to the stack of issues right now, from injuries and fatigue to Ange simply not getting what he needs at a critical moment. It's Jan 16th. We knew what we needed in late November/early December. Just...

The Game Is About Glory Podcast

I actually 'relapsed' a bit after the record in so far as I found myself quite angry and down after watching Ange and Son's post-matches.

It comes down to this IMO. Do you believe in the destination of this journey enough to bear the horrors of said-journey? As @ricky2tricky4city said, I think many of us are feeling uneasy.

Agreed. My mate said it when Werner was resigned on loan, he commented that it was an early 'fold' on exactly what we were prepared to do. Essentially we chose to pay what, 7.5 mill for him for the season (wages) rather than sack him off and look for better? I will concede that the Odobert...
