he's played there, not brilliantly, but I wouldn't expect any different from Zaha

exactly, neither of them can, zaha has the pace of Son admittedly, but the brain of Walcott, the touch of lukaku and the shot accuracy of bobby Zamora

Thats like saying "his strength is breathing".

Oh and he can tie up his laces on his own (though with Sissoko i do wonder whether thats true)

I see. Fundamentally we view the player completely differently, I cant agree with any of that, which is fine - of course - but Ill leave it here as I dont see us moving it on any more!

Honestly mate, nothing other than being told unequivocally well over a week ago that he was not coming to us, was most likely going nowhere and that if he went anywhere it would've been to Chelski. I didn't believe it TBH, but it appears to be accurate.

Things can change though. Chelsea just shot their wad on a keeper, I dont know that they have more money for big buys.

We have failed in Martial (it seems) so may well feel the pressure and make a move.

Not saying we will, just that since a week ago a lot can change and we might.

He is right, Cant really expect Palace to sell the best player with zero time to replace him

Of all the many links this window, its been the most widely/assuredly reported, we can only assume theres something to it.

But - we dont actually know anything, do we?

So why have we even been talking about any player?!

Unless we offer N'Koudou as part of the swap???

Actually, haven't they already signed a wide player? Or is Meyer more a ACM?

Meyer central, Ayew - depends which one (and I always mix them up) - isnt one a striker?

the striker is Andre who i think has joined a Turkish club.

Jordan is more the wide one.

Ill take your word on it, I never get it right!

Could be a replacement to Zaha, or it could just be strengthening a rather weak squad.

sadly for us, more likely the latter. They're sniffing around Drinkwater too, having already signed Kouyate, but i guess that's to cover off Cabaye leaving.

Cabaye is a pretty big loss, so is Loftus Cheek.

Kouyate and Meyer I imagine will be fairly direct replacements.

Otherwise theyve added an attacking option in Ayew, something they desperately need, so at this point I wouldnt read much into it.
