Yom Kippur

Yermiyahu

Scott Parker
Those of us of the Hebrew faith begin the observance of Yom Kippur in a few hours, for 24 hours we will fast, pray and ask the almighty for forgiveness. However there happens to be the small matter of the game with Arsenal which for us US based fans falls right in the middle of the holy day. I wonder if G-d would mind if I sneak out of shul for a couple of hours?? To those that observe, an easy fast and may you be inscribed.

I sometimes go without food for 24 hours without realising i.e. if I have a huge lunch I won't feel like dinner a few hours later, then I never have breakfast before work... so next thing I know it is lunchtime and I've "fasted" for 24 hours, pretty easy really. Good luck with whatever rituals you choose to do during this.
