Thought Vermaelen had retired. Where is he (not) playing now?

Not quite sure why you need Ward Prowse and Phillips holding against San Marino, the usual no idea tactics from Gareth says it all

Sterling annoys me so much, he is greedy, wasteful and a headless chicken

Usual high standard of commentary, "What a great header from Bellingham" as the ball sails 2 yards high and wide of the goal. Just imagine if he had scored.

Not just lost but deservedly lost. Our keeper was our best player. Very grim at the moment. The manager getting pilloried and we have probably the weakest squad we've had in living memory.

If you doubt that last part, Matt Doherty is arguably our best player.

Poles missing Lewandowski tomorrow, oh how I'm going to miss Mark Pooedmypants telling me how much better than Harry he is and if Harry wants to improve he needs to move to a BIG club.

Do you think the manager is the right person for the job? I’m not that familiar with his work but I wondered if he is trying to be too expansive and a more pragmatic approach would be better?
The squad does look thin, there did seem a few experienced heads on the bench though?
