England to draw the first 2 games then lose to Belgium and go out is my prediction

I think we'll get through the group, 2nd spot after the Dutch.

Based on the defence/midfield we've taken out there, we'd be lucky to get those 2 points.

    Keepers too for that matter.

The draw has been very kind to England, if they cannot get out of that group, we have problems.

I think that Southgate has done a good job so far and has mainly made the right decisions. He hasn't dodged tough decisions and has set up a style of play which should suit tournament football. I doubt that he wanted to include Wellbeck or Cahill but his hand was forced a little by injuries.

It's the worst England squad since 92-94 imo. They should get out of the group but expectations shouldn't go beyond that

It looks better than the 2014 squad to me

It’s a decent squad given what Southgate has to choose from.
The problem with England will always be the expectation. We fail at a tournament, manager gets sacked/resigns. Everyone says we need to go back to basics, rebuild and aim for success not at the next tournament but the one after. And then the next tournament comes along, and the expectation is the same as it always is. There really isn’t any time allowed for rebuilding.
Is it the same for other countries?

No. Everyone else is either good or they know they're not.

I think that we should view this one as building to the next Euros but the draw has been so kind that the QFs are very achievable.

Let's just be thankful we don't have to play a powerhouse like Iceland in our group.

5 Spurs though, we'll win the World Cup a la the Caravan Club and return to England with Winning meteorology pouring out of every orifice.

Surprised at Chadli and Januzaj getting in.

Not that I know what their alternatives are!

Shows the absolute gulf in talent. I think Kane is probably the only England player that would get in their first 11.

We're still waiting for them to actually deliver though, and this generation is on its last legs I think.

With Martinez in charge I dont expect that to change this summer...

Walker would get in and a fit Rose. Tend to play four center backs with Toby and Yan down the wings.
