    Not really.

Every single article on Saliba has stated St Etienes desire to have him back on loan for the season.

This is another Clarke type buy, not one for the coming season.

...or if its not. Loan him back for a year - isn't that the scums plan - then Toby leaves on a free next summer and Saliba comes in...

Bring him in, Sanchez becomes starting CB, Saliba joins the rotation. If he's going to cost 30m+ why not? Poch believes in youth and who gives a fudge what Arsenal's plans are.

"Lol we already lost, they have Pochettino calling him talking about his years in France and his love for French poetry and how important it is to be good on the ball for a defender. Emery calls him with the prospect that he can learn from Mustafi and Saliba hangs up."

Im really not one to indulge in this kind of thing, not usually.

Have to say though I cant help but smile reading through a lot of it.

There are some I do feel genuinely bad for, the ones with their head screwed on and a sense of perspective, but all the spoilt whinny temper tantrum ones? Absolutely love seeing them squirm.

Whether there is any truth in this or not, the dynamic shows how important CL participation is.

This is why I was so adamant it was the best result for Chelsea to win the Europa and not Arsenal.

So far this summer is panning out exactly as I thought it would with regards to their inability to make meaningful transfers.

He'd still sign for Arsenal over us if they offered their previous level of wages to him (though I appreciate they've had to cut their wages as a result of 2 seasons out of the CL).

True, but without the CL we wouldn't have the money to compete with them on the fee.

I know he is highly rated, has anyone seen him play? If so what sort of defender does he remind you of?

Varane was a top player ( imo) so if we get him i would be happy about that.
