Or chat up the receptionist in the building next door and get the WiFi key.

Or bribe the IT team with good Scotch, most places have a connection used for testing which isn’t controlled in the same way.

sorry, I was trying to be funny by mirroring your post, my weird sense of humour doesn't always translate well to forums (or life in general sometimes!! ) :)

I got Nord VPN the other day, very happy with it. Hasn't hurt streaming for football/netflix etc, easy setup. Can use it on 6 devices. Cost about $120 for 3 years (that worked out the cheapest deal). So, I recommend them.

Aren't Nord VPN owned by or affiliated with a really dodgy parent company?

I will post updates if anything nefarious happens. All ok so far, though I haven't been using it for long (week or two).

Just be careful man, "NordVPN is owned by Tesonet, a company based out of Lithuania that is known for creating botnets out of computers that it has access to and control over."

Basically Tesonet are known as a pretty major data-mining company.

I think I have 30 days to change my mind on it. I have to choose between one of these VPN firms (and who really knows what any of them want to do with my data?) and my ISP monitoring my 1llegal football streaming and music/tv downloads. Reason I picked Nord is due to reviews that said they have a lot of servers and good speeds, so no trouble with streams or netflix (my mrs likes netflix) etc. So far so good in that regard.

Should probably just put the laptop in the bin and go back to watching Match of the Day haha

Just purchase a dedicated VPS service somewhere and setup your own VPN or Proxy. Pretty easy to do.

Does anyone have a vpn which is good for US / Canada etc Netflix?

I’ve rather exhausted the UK service!

It won't work! The restriction is on the network at your workplace. Your cannot alter their restrictions. You are using their IP, so a VPN will not be of any use.
