Yep, I’ve been telling anyone who would listen (my labrador) Rakitic and Coutinho are brick for years.
I think a strong argument can be made that every single team in world football right now is fudging brick, what would early 90’s Milan do to these sides.
What would they do to most sides, that has to be one of the best teams of all time. I'd swap Sanchez for Baresi any day of the week, and maybe even Llorente for Van Basten!

Well fair play to them today .. Barca rolled over and took it in the ass (and they and Messi have a lot to answer for, two years in a row)
But if someone thinks they will post 97+ points next season ..
The Italian league were also quite competitive at that time. Certainly Juventus, but also Inter, Fiorentina and even Parma had exciting teams as I remember.

Klopp has been fantastic. Most every significant signing contributing Immediately. No recurring injuries just one offs. 2nd stringers coming in with ease. Young ones developing well.

Golden days of football, I was more interested in Italian football than England’s to be honest.

lol... that aside....different history, and you could say that Liverpool had a head start. we can and will get there, the new stadium is a big stepping stone towards winning the CL. I just hope I see it in my lifetime!
